While traveling one day through a city

A man asked if I knew the truth

I said friend I don't know

This truth you're speaking of

Now please let me be on my way

The man then told me of amazing love

The love of our savior and king

He told me of grace, forgiveness and mercy

The truth is that Jesus saves

 

To tell you the truth I'm a sinner and need a savior

I could never make it out on my own

To tell you the truth is that Jesus shed his blood

To take away my heavy load

To tell you the truth without him

I’m lost forever

Thank God for His amazing grace

To tell you the truth Jesus really loves me

He proved his love on Calvary's hill

In this world that we live in

the truth ain't always clear

It gets distorted in many ways

But friend let me tell you

What God's word says

We've all sinned and come short of His glory

For the wages of sin is death.Oh, but wait

For He is the truth and life

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son

So whoever believes shall be saved
